Dtech Services · HVAC & solar · Ottawa, ON
SEO and Google Ads, run as one engine: 34 leads in month one, a lead a day since.
Dtech Services installs and repairs furnaces, heat pumps, water heaters and solar across Ottawa. We built their new website in March 2026 and run both sides of their traffic — the SEO that compounds, and the Google Ads that sell today. This case study covers both.

“DTech Services was introduced to Wisdek through a mutual friend who was already a satisfied Wisdek client. Despite the referral, the company was initially skeptical about the proposed solution.”
The challenge
When DTech Services approached Wisdek, its digital presence had several significant limitations:
- Poor website performance: The existing WordPress website was slow, creating a less effective user experience.
- Incomplete service presentation: The website did not adequately showcase the company's full range of HVAC services, limiting its ability to connect with relevant potential customers.
- Minimal organic visibility: The website attracted only approximately 5–10 organic visitors per month, leaving the company heavily reliant on paid acquisition for online leads.
- Dependence on paid advertising: Google Ads and Google Local Services Ads were generating some inquiries, but organic search was not contributing meaningfully to lead generation.
The central challenge was to turn an underperforming website into a stronger digital asset capable of attracting qualified prospects, communicating the company's expertise, and supporting sustainable business growth.

The solution: one site, two engines
The same fast website feeds both engines — SEO pages that climb month after month, and Google Ads that catch the buyers who can't wait.
- A fast new site, live in March
Rebuilt to load in under a second on a phone, with tap-to-call and a short form on every page — because a furnace emergency is a phone-first purchase.
- A page for every service and suburb
Furnaces, heat pumps, tankless water heaters, HRV/ERV, duct cleaning, insulation — each with pages for Ottawa and the surrounding towns Dtech serves, from Orléans to Almonte.
- Rebate content homeowners search
Ottawa buyers research rebates before they buy. The site answers those questions — and now ranks on page one for heat-pump and furnace rebate searches.
- Schema for services and service areas
Structured data for every service and town, so Google and AI assistants can match Dtech to the job with confidence.
- Google Ads on the jobs that pay
Campaigns focused on furnace replacements, heat pumps and water heaters — high-ticket work — with every setting that burns money without bringing calls switched off.
- One lead pipe, fully tracked
Calls and forms from SEO and ads land in the same tracked pipe, so Dtech sees exactly what each channel produced and what each lead cost.
- Ads and SEO sharing intelligence
The searches that convert in ads tell us which SEO pages to build next; the pages that rank cut the cost of the ads. Each side makes the other cheaper.
- Monthly cycles since launch
New pages and campaign refinements every month, steered by Search Console and the ads account — not by guesswork.
The result: visible for every job, in every suburb
